Terms and Conditions of Using iDonate Kenya App

Welcome to iDonate Kenya, an app developed by iDonate Kenya, an NGO in Kenya, that provides a directory for children homes and opportunities for volunteers. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the app. By accessing or using iDonate Kenya, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the app.

Account Registration:

1. Children Home Owners: Children home owners can register an account on iDonate Kenya. During registration, accurate and up-to-date information must be provided. After registration, an email verification process will be conducted before the account is activated. Once verified, the children home owner can log in and list at least one children home.
2. Volunteers: Volunteers can register an account on iDonate Kenya. Accurate and up-to-date information must be provided during the registration process. An email verification process will be conducted before the account is activated. Once verified, volunteers can log in, view, and apply for volunteer opportunities listed on the app.

User Responsibilities:

a. Children Home Owners:

i. You are responsible for providing accurate information about your children home and ensuring that it complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

ii. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

b. Volunteers:

i. You are responsible for providing accurate information during the registration process.

ii. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the details of volunteer opportunities before applying.

iii. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

1. User Conduct: a. Users must not engage in any activities that are illegal, infringe upon the rights of others, or violate these terms and conditions. b. Users must not upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes upon the rights of others. c. Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app, interfere with its functionality, or disrupt the services provided.

2. Content Ownership and Usage: a. Children Home Owners: i. You retain ownership of the content you submit to the app, including information about your children home. ii. By submitting content, you grant iDonate Kenya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and publish the content for the purpose of promoting and providing the app's services. b. Volunteers: i. You acknowledge that the volunteer opportunities listed on iDonate Kenya are owned and controlled by the respective children home owners. ii. You may only use the information provided by the children home owners for the purpose of applying to volunteer opportunities and must not use it for any other unauthorized purposes.

3. Privacy: a. iDonate Kenya respects the privacy of its users. Please refer to the app's Privacy Policy for detailed information on how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

4. Modifications to the App and Terms: a. iDonate Kenya reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the app at any time without prior notice. b. iDonate Kenya may update these terms and conditions from time to time. It is the user's responsibility to review and comply with the latest version of the terms.

5. Limitation of Liability: a. iDonate Kenya and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the app or any content or services provided through the app. b. iDonate Kenya does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided on the app.

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. b. Any disputes arising from the use of iDonate Kenya app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
